New Scholars Community

The New Scholars community is a sub-group of NiCHE composed of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and recent PhD graduates. The group is informal, arranging a couple of digital meeting per term, profiling new and emerging scholars, sharing resources, and providing a network of support and common interest. The New Scholars representative coordinates the community’s activities and advises the NiCHE executive on new scholar issues. The current representative is Justin Fisher, a PhD candidate at the University of Saskatchewan. If you’re interested in getting involved with this group, have an idea for a project, or want to learn more, you can contact Justin here or find him on Twitter here.

Thanks to all our previous New Scholars representatives: Jennifer Bonnell, Sean Kheraj, William Knight, Lauren Wheeler, Mike Commito, Pete Anderson, Jessica DeWitt, Laura Larsen, Mica Jorgenson, Robynne Mellor, and Heather Green!
