Dagomar Degroot is an assistant professor of environmental history at Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. Is the founder and director of HistoricalClimatology.com and the Tipping Points Project, the co-director and co-founder of the Climate History Network, and the host of the Climate History Podcast. His first book, The Frigid Golden Age: Climate Change, the Little Ice Age, and the Dutch Republic, 1560-1720, is out now with Cambridge University Press.
