à la visualisation de données spatiales en histoire

J’ai le plaisir de vous inviter à une journée d’étude sur la visualisation de données spatiales en histoire, organisée autour de la cartographie et des systèmes d’information géographique historique (SIGH). Cet événement aura lieu le 21 novembre de 9h00 à 15h00 au Carrefour des Arts et des Sciences, salle C-3061, situé dans le Pavillon Lionel-Groulx de l’Université de Montréal.

Cette journée a pour objectif d’initier les participants aux techniques et aux potentiels méthodologiques des SIGH, avec des présentations et un atelier interactif. Ce sera une excellente occasion d’échanger sur vos projets et d’explorer les possibilités offertes par ces outils.

I am pleased to invite you to a workshop on the visualization of spatial data in history (cartography and historical geographic information systems (HGIS)). This event will take place on November 21 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Carrefour des Arts et des Sciences, room C-3061, located in the Pavillon Lionel-Groulx at l’Université de Montréal.

The workshop aims to introduce participants to the techniques and methodological potential of HGIS through presentations and an interactive workshop. This will be an excellent opportunity to discuss personal projects and explore the possibilities offered by these tools.
