The New Scholars are back, ready for more virtual reading group meeting and looking for new members. If you are a new scholar – or a senior scholar who would like to know what the New Scholars are up to – please join our group: http://groups.google.com/group/niche-new-scholars-environmental-history-reading-group. Any questions about the group or request to join can be directed to Lauren Wheeler lmwheele@ualberta.ca.
Our first reading group of the year will be 4pm ET, Tuesday, October 4 with a paper from post-doc Merle Massie titled “Creating “Vacationland” on the Prairies, 1900-1940”.
