CALL FOR PAPERS:
You can now submit individual paper presentations and register to join us at the 74th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association of Geographers, scheduled from August 14th to 18th, 2024, hosted by the Department of Geography at Memorial University.
The CAG 2024, centred around the theme of “edges”, presents a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas with fellow geographers. Edges are where one thing ends and another begins. Where disciplines meet, and interact. Where we push boundaries. Where transformation happens. ‘Edges’ also invokes images of scholarship at the margins. A focus on the edges highlights opportunities to lift up voices, approaches, and sub-disciplines that are conventionally under-appreciated and under-utilized. Therefore, we welcome innovative perspectives and diverse methodologies that challenge the status quo and broaden our understanding of geography.
Please use the Google Form available at the following link to submit your paper presentation: https://forms.gle/wS77gzNq4St5xA9t6.
Essential details to include when registering your paper presentation are the title of your presentation, five keywords, information about your co-authors, and an abstract of no more than 250 words. You may also indicate if you would like your presentation to be considered for a special session. If it is not accepted into a special session, it will still be considered for the general program. We encourage you to submit your proposal and register for the conference and by April 27th to take advantage of the discounted rates.
