NiCHE at 20
Marking Twenty Years of NiCHE
Event and Post Proposal Deadline: 30 September 2024
Series Will Run to the End of 2024
The Network in Canadian History and Environment (NiCHE) is celebrating our twentieth anniversary this year! Our founding director, Alan MacEachern, reflected on the eve of this momentous occasion in November. Earlier this month, we held our first “NiCHE at 20” event, a five-person panel reflecting on NiCHE’s role in cultivating community in environmental history over the past twenty years.
Now we would like to invite our broader community to partake in our anniversary. We welcome proposals for events (in-person and online), blog posts, and other “NiCHE at 20” ideas that reflect on, celebrate, and otherwise mark our twentieth anniversary.
The proposal deadline for “NiCHE at 20” is September 30, 2024. Events, posts, and other content should take place or be published before the end of 2024.
Mini Reflections and Memories
NiCHE community members and readers are invited to submit memories and reflections of NiCHE over the past two decades. Short written reflections, video reflections, photos, and favourite NiCHE website content are welcome! These will be shared on our website and social media. Use the below form to submit your content.
