Shannon Stunden Bower
Shannon Stunden Bower is an Associate Professor in the History program at the University of Alberta. Trained in historical geography and environmental history, she now teaches courses in fields including Canadian history, environmental history, and public history. Her research focuses on the environmental history of the Prairies/northern Great Plains. Stunden Bower is particularly interested in questions related to water management, agricultural history, and state institutions. Find her on Bluesky at @stundenbower.bsky.social.
