ASEH is accepting applications for Travel Grants to the 2026 Conference in Kansas City.
Deadline to apply is November 20, 2025
The ASEH provides a limited number of travel grants for graduate students, independent scholars, contingent faculty, or recent PhD presenters at the annual conference. Please read the following information about eligibility and awards before applying.
Eligibility and Award Amounts
ASEH requires that recipients:
- be participating in the meeting (e.g. presenting a paper or poster, chairing a session, chairing a committee meeting, etc.)
- be a graduate student, independent scholar, contingent faculty, or recent PhD (a recent PhD is a degree received in the last five years)
- be a member of ASEH in good standing
Domestic travel awards are from $500-$750 and international travel is $750-$1000.
Grant Fund Usage
ASEH funds should primarily be used for travel expenses to and from the conference, but can also be applied to registration fees, hotel, and meals. Membership fees are not covered by this grant and will not be reimbursed. Reimbursement checks will be issued onsite at the ASEH registration desk in Kansas City.
