MacFadyen-NiCHEphotoI am happy to announce that Josh MacFadyen has accepted the position of NiCHE Project Coordinator. Josh studies historical commodities in their social and environmental contexts, and has most recently been a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario. He has been involved in a number of NiCHE projects in recent years, and has an ongoing interest in the network’s HGIS and digital initiatives.

As Project Coordinator, Josh will both develop collaborative environmental history / historical geography projects for NiCHE and supervise much of the network’s day-to-day management. He will begin the two-year position in mid-August.
