Sara Pilon
Sara Pilon (she/her) is an MA student in the University of Saskatchewan’s Department of History. Her SSHRC-funded research explores the wide ranging environmental and sociocultural transformations of Saskatchewan’s UNESCO Redberry Lake Biosphere Region. Sara has been an undergraduate research assistant on several projects with the University of Saskatchewan’s Co-Lab: Centre for Community Engaged and Collaborative Historical Research. Starting in September 2026, she will be serving as the Co-Lab’s Research Coordinator. Her approach to history is grounded in her Women’s and Gender Studies background, with a focus on ethical community engaged research, collaboration, and social justice.
