Michael Borsk is a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, Mississauga, and an incoming assistant professor at Corpus Christi College at the University of British Columbia. In addition to his research on the Hudson's Bay Company, he is at work on a manuscript, entitled States of Measurement: Surveying Land and Law in the Early Great Lakes.
