Alan is author of Becoming Green Gables & the companion website GreenGablesDiary.ca (2024), The Summer Trade (with Edward MacDonald, 2022), & The Miramichi Fire (2020). Josh is an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair at the University of Prince Edward Island where he teaches in the Applied Communication, Leadership & Culture Program in the Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on the history of biomass energy and agriculture. From 2012-2014 he was the NiCHE project coordinator, and he served on the NiCHE editorial board until 2018.
