Jeremy Schmidt is Reader in Environmental Geography in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science at Queen Mary University of London. He is the author of Water: Abundance, Scarcity, and Security in the Age of Humanity (NYU Press) and co-editor of Ethics and Planetary Boundaries (Cambridge). His work on water policy in Alberta has been tabled and debated in the provincial legislature.
