Ingrid Medby
Dr Ingrid A. Medby is a Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at Newcastle University in the UK. Her research focuses on Critical and Arctic Geopolitics, with a particular interest in identity discourses, diplomacy, and language-use. ‘Arctic State Identity: Geography, History, and Geopolitical Relations’ is her first book. However, she has also published in journals such as Political Geography, Geoforum, Antipode, Area, and others. She is currently working on a new collaborative book project seeking to ‘reimagine’ geopolitics, and another on ‘voids’ in international politics.
