Amanda Wells is a PhD candidate with the University of Newcastle (Australia), studying the environmental history of citrus growing in the Riverland of South Australia between 1948 and 1970. She is a HDR representative for the Australian and Aoetearoa New Zealand Environmental History Network, and a 2022 Jack Cross Fellow (Friends of the South Australian Archives). Amanda lives and works on unceded Ngadjuri country.
