Ann Shteir
Ann Shteir, Professor Emerita in Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies at York University, is co-author with Jacques Cayouette of “Collecting with ‘botanical friends’: Four Women in Colonial Quebec and Newfoundland” (Scientia Canadensis 41.1 (2019). Her Cultivating Women, Cultivating Science: Flora’s Daughters and Botany in England, 1760 to 1860 (1996), winner of the Joan G. Kelly Prize in Women’s History, came out in Chinese translation in 2021.
