CFP: Early American Environmental Histories
The William and Mary Quarterly and the Early Modern Studies Institute at the University of Southern California seek proposals for a workshop on “Early American Environmental Histories,” to be held at the Huntington Library in San Marino, California in May 2017. As the cfp emphasizes, we’re seeking a broad array of proposals spanning all of North America, Mesoamerica, and the Caribbean. Hemispheric and oceanic perspectives are also welcome. Travel expenses are covered by the workshop; the deadline for proposals is October 25.
