Phoebe Springstubb is an Assistant Professor in the History of Art Department at the University of Michigan and a postdoctoral scholar in the Michigan Society of Fellows. Her current book project, "The Inhabited Arctic: Time, Architecture, and the Making of the Deep Past in the Bering Strait," examines different cultural ideas of time and their architectural expressions in Siberia and Arctic North America.
