Sasha Shestakova is a decolonial researcher from Russia. In their Phd project at Ruhr University Bochum, they interrogate the coloniality of Soviet art, combining art-history, decolonial thinking and critical infrastructure studies. Their work has been published in Parse Journal, Journal of Visual Cultures and European Review Journal as well as presented at Transmediale Symposium “This is Not Anarchy, this is Chaos”
