Oliver Aas is a postdoctoral fellow at the Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard. He completed his PhD at Cornell University, and he works on environmental humanities, philosophy, literary and visual studies and media histories. He is currently working on his first book project, "Arctic Forms: Literature, Art Politics," which traces the imaginative and symbolic importance of the Arctic in the Western imagination.
