Henry Irving is a Senior Lecturer in Public History at Leeds Beckett University in the UK. He is a historian of Britain in the Second World War, with interests in the public’s response to wartime conditions, legislation and propaganda. He has published on wartime recycling and wartime controls over industrial production.
