The 2017 biennial conference of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) will be meeting October 18-21, 2017 in Las Vegas at the Tuscany Suites and Casino. The theme of the conference is “Celebrating Canada’s Sesquicentennial Journey” and the organizers will be accepting proposals from a variety of disciplines, as befits an interdisciplinary organization. But NiCHE members and readers are particularly encouraged to submit to the “Geography, Energy, and Environment” section, which is being co-chaired by Daniel Macfarlane (daniel.macfarlane@wmich.edu) and Andrea Olive (andrea.olive@utoronto.ca). Please submit proposals to the co-chairs by March 15, 2017.
