Researchers at Memorial University are exploring the history and contemporary legacies of industrial and military contamination at sites around the North. These include mine sites, military installations, and even the site of a nuclear satellite crash. Our research traces the origins of these toxic sites and examines the politics of remediating, or cleaning up toxic hazards.
