Malcolm and Christine Stanley
Malcolm Stanley
Having met and married in New Brunswick, the couple moved to the Island in 1975 in order to ply their trades, Malcolm as a potter and Christine a weaver and spinner. They moved to the Dixon Road in 1979, attracted by the cheap land and close-knit sense of community. Having built their own home, they also established a small farm featuring heritage breeds. They continue to live on the Dixon Road, operating a shop and studio just a short walk from their house.
