Trang Dang
Trang Dang is a doctoral student at Nottingham Trent University and previously graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA and an MA in English Literature. Her PhD project is funded by the NTU PhD Studentship scheme and her postgraduate work on the topics of animal literature and American culture has been published in the interdisciplinary journal, Exclamat!on, and the PopMeC Research blog. Trang specialises in contemporary literature, science fiction, new weird fiction, contemporary cultural theory, and object-oriented philosophy. She is currently working on Jeff VanderMeer's weird fiction, exploring narratives of co-existence between humans and nonhumans and the role of new weird novels in portraying the current climate crisis.
