In 2020, L. Sasha Gora received her PhD from LMU Munich and the Rachel Carson Center on the subject of Indigenous restaurants in Canada. Based on her doctoral research, she is currently working on her first book, titled Culinary Claims, as well as a new research project about culinary responses to climate change. She teaches at LMU Munich’s Amerika-Institut.
