Sarah Wilson
Sarah Ruth Wilson is pursuing a Ph.D. in American Studies at Pennsylvania State University, specializing in environmental history and the intersections of gender, race, and ethnicity. Her current work focuses on the landscape idea in American culture and its significant connection with gender performance, identity formation, and entertainment. She holds a B.A. in art history from Wilson College and therefore continues to write about American art, particularly landscape painting and the changing concept of the sublime.
