Alicia Carefoote
Alicia Carefoote is a Ph.D. student in Canadian Studies at Trent University. Her doctoral research focuses on the creation and correlation of Arctic penitentiaries and the Canadian State. She is also interested in exploring the Canadian State and its role in religious movements, MAID, abortion rights, war, and literary fiction. Outside of academia, Alicia is a wife, mother, and daughter to her loving family.
