Le cours s’adresse aux étudiants et aux professionnels de tous disciplines intéressés au patrimoine.
Ce cours bilingue (français et anglais) s’adresse notamment à ceux et celles qui souhaitent développer leurs compétences en matière de documentation, d’interprétation, de mise en valeur et d’animation du patrimoine bâti et des paysages culturels en travaillant étroitement avec les collectivités.
Cette année, le lieu d’étude choisi est le Parc national du Canada Forillon. Nous travaillerons avec les communautés avoisinantes au Parc, soit celles de Cap-aux-Os, de Cap-des-Rosiers et de l’Anse-au-Griffon, afin d’explorer comment générer une synergie et une complémentarité entre l’entreprise privée, l’offre publique et les initiatives communautaires visant à dynamiser les villages et le Parc.

Open to advanced undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals of all disciplines interested in built heritage.
This bilingual (English and French) field school will be especially of interest to those wishing to develop their field recording techniques, to learn to interpret buildings and sites, to work with local interest groups in community development, and to sensitively intervene in regional cultural landscapes.
This year our study site is Forillon National Park of Canada. We will work with the communities adjacent to the park, namely Cap-aux-Os, Cap-des-Rosiers and l’Anse-au-Griffon, to explore the ways in which complementarity and synergy can be generated between private enterprises, the public sector, and community initiatives to stimulate the development of both the villages and the Park.
