Morley Pinsent and his family began their back-to-the-land experience in a British Columbia commune before deciding to strike out on their own. They eventually settled in South Granville, Prince Edward Island, where they lived off the grid and maintained a large organic market garden. Morley also worked a series of contracts for the provincial government, including a stint with the Small Farms Program. He currently resides in South Rustico.
