Last April, the Nature | History | Society series from UBC Press celebrated the publication of its fortieth book. As the first book series to focus on Canadian environmental history, Nature | History | Society has covered a range of topics from urban environments, to wildlife, to water, to energy.

This episode of the podcast features a panel discussion with the three most recent authors in the book series. Angela Carter, Stephane Castonguay, and Daniel Macfarlane joined me to talk about their recently published books. And we were joined by James MacNevin from UBC Press who shared some background on the book series and plans for its future.
