We invite submissions for publication with PiCHE: Papers in Canadian History & Environment .

What is PiCHE? Glad you asked.

PiCHE is a peer-reviewed research series, published since 2018, featuring high-quality scholarship about Canadian environmental history.

As a digital publication, PiCHE enables scholars to reach a wide audience while offering a faster path to publication. It is open access and maintains rigorous peer review standards. In addition, it offers the opportunity to publish media-rich pieces in innovative ways. (What other publication would say, “The more media the better!” Maps, photographs, art; video and interactive features; datasets and visualization – we can support these.)

Papers are archived through York University Libraries and promoted through NiCHE’s network and media.

We welcome submissions from emerging and established scholars working across the disciplines, in the environmental humanities or social sciences, in universities, public institutions, or with community organizations. Nous acceptons les soumissions en français et en anglais.

For more information, contact the editorial board by email.
