A collection of over 85 historical BC Forest Service films and videos have been digitized and published online as part of the centenary celebration of the BC Forest Service. Digitization was done through a grant from the UBC Ike Barber Learning Centre and funding from the BC Forest Service Centenary Society.

A complete list and description are available at: http://www.bcfs100.ca/bscripts/links.asp

Enjoy these videos, with footage ranging from the 1920s to the 1990s, including such classics as “Axe Facts” (1969), “Trees to Expo ’70: British Columbia at Osaka” and “Managing the Data” on the virtues of computers in modern forest management (very, VERY 1988!).

But, no doubt you will pick a favourite of your own.
