Were Junior Rangers Sprayed with Agent Orange in Northern Ontario?

The Toronto Star is reporting this morning that they have obtained records showing that forestry workers in Northern Ontario, many of them who were students working in Ontario’s Junior Ranger program, were sprayed with Agent Orange in the 1950′s, 60′, and 70′s.

Their investigation examined hundreds of boxes of forestry documents and found the provincial government began experimenting with a powerful hormone-based chemical called 2,4,5-T — the dioxin-laced component of Agent Orange — in Hearst, Ont., in 1957.
