I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. My book Cattle Colonialism explores the impacts of introduce livestock on indigenous peoples and empires in California and Hawai'i. My current project examines the history of Sauk and Meskwaki people through their many migrations until mid-nineteenth century removals.
